Shakespeare's classic comedy unfolds fast and furiously in this abridged one-act version, trimmed to the story's very essence. Believing her identical brother was killed in a shipwreck, Viola disguises herself as a man and ends up falling in love with her boss, who uses her to send love letters to the Countess Olivia. But Olivia falls in love with Viola's male persona, and soon everyone is involved in the confusion: a bossy servant, drunken lords, and a wise fool -- all of which Viola can manage until her brother appears, further complicating the web of lies and mistaken identities.
