Watching their team lose once again, three college baseball players meditate on the nature of what it means to truly play baseball. As they try to convince one another that winning is not what baseball is all about, they ponder why they can't seem to win and whether their determination to keep playing has any greater existential meaning.
(This play can also be performed as part of the full-length play Small Packages: Collected Short Plays.)
