A gently surreal story of two insurance claims adjusters on the heels of a vicious Kansas hailstorm. From the lies told by the nervous rural populace, to the mysterious restorative powers of the nearby town of Norton, to their personal histories and dream women, the two spectacularly ill-fitted partners develop a curious relationship with the truth -- all within the confines of a motel room 12 miles from the geographical center of the United States.
