During his vacation in France, Lemonde decides to visit a lunatic asylum known for its unique practices. However, Lemonde soon finds that its famous "System of Soothing," which allows lunatics to walk outside their cells, makes it difficult to distinguish the keepers from the inmates.
(This play can also be performed as part of the full-length play An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe.)
