Biography
Sonya Saturday is a cartoonist and playwright. She is known for her quick wit and dry sense of humor. She often uses humor in her work to explore sex, horror, and bisexuality.
Sonya began her playwriting career as a high school student. In college, she drew her earliest comics for the local student-run newspaper. She wrote and drew her weekly adult comic strip Load for nine years. During that time, she produced various comic books and one-offs, including the mini-series "Pope & Pig" and the Load collection, Why Do You Cry When I'm On Top? (Northwest Press). Sonya has been a featured panelist at comic book conventions throughout Southern California. Sonya was born in Virginia and raised in Florida. She now lives in West Hollywood, California with her three cats.
