Biography
Chad Beckim's writing credits include ...a matter of choice, 'nami, Lights Rise on Grace (Winner: Outstanding Play, 2007 New York International Fringe Festival; Finalist for the 2007 Princess Grace Award), Shane Goes Home, or The Main(e) Play, and the short film The End of Something. As an actor, he has appeared onstage at Baltimore Center Stage, Playwrights' Horizons, The Flea Theater, The Culture Project/45 Below, and numerous TV shows and films. Mr. Beckim has a BFA in Theatre from Utica College of Syracuse University, and is currently studying with Mac Wellman at Brooklyn College's MFA Playwriting Program. He was named one of "50 Playwrights to Watch" by the Dramatists Guild, and he is a co-Founder and co-Artistic Director of Partial Comfort Productions.
